Story
Forbes Field was a baseball park in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1909 to 1970. In addition to being the home of Negro Leagues team, the Homestead Grays, Forbes Field was also the third home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the first home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and served as the home football field for the Pitt Panthers from 1909 to 1924. Forbes Field was demolished in July 1971 but remnants of the stadium still stand, surrounded by the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Pay your respects with this vintage-inspired Forbes Field T-Shirt!
