Sr Graphic Designer & Illustrator

Summary of Position

Charlie Hustle is more than a local t-shirt company. We aim to celebrate your story by using apparel as our canvas. Our clothing paired with unique designs are what make us a fan favorite. It's why we're looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and dedicated illustrator to join our team. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include assisting the management team in:

Product Design, including illustration and ensuring optimal success.
Designer Management, as it relates to design inspiration and updating AirTable base.
Brand Identity, as it relates to making sure all CH designs are on-brand.
Design Concepting, including coordinating feedback to ensure efficiency.
Collaboration, including soliciting feedback, following licensing rules, and managing risk.
Liaising with the Product Manager and Product Team on new designs and ideas.
Undertaking relevant research and generating product design ideas.
Drawing initial designs for approval according to requirements.
Participate in design briefs with clients and/or team members.
Ensure illustrations and designs meet quality, design, and approval standards.
Ensure designs follow process standards, by the due date set by the Product Manager.

Qualifications:

Collaborative attitude, receptive to feedback and direction.
High-level drawing skills with an attention to detail (both by hand and digital pen).
Proficient in Adobe Suite and Procreate.
Possess a positive attitude and ethics, which support our values and culture.
Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize.

Retail Store Brand Ambassador

Summary of Position

The Charlie Hustle store offers a comfortable shopping experience, with staff dedicated to helping customers find the perfect new items to represent their favorite team, hometown, or local BBQ. We want to connect with each customer and offer enthusiasm from entry to exit. They brand ambassador should be fashion-forward, with a passion for incorporating t-shirts into a trendy look all while performing basic operational and transactional functions. This is a part-time position.

Duties and responsibilities:

Sales - ability to generate sales, add-on, and develop relationships with customers.
Client Service - ensures that the client remains top priority.
Be able to speak to the history, core values, and mission of Charlie Hustle.
Ability to organize and lift merchandise, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain within guidelines.
Assist in sales at both the retail location (located on the Plaza) and the warehouse hub (located in the Crossroads).
Ability to capture accurate information for all transactions, including signatures, addresses, and original receipt data.
Communicates effectively with customers, members of management, store associates, and HQ.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business (part-time maximum 28 hours per week).
Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback.
Assists in the completion of daily projects while keeping the focus on the customer experience.
Contributes to the team by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others.
Provide the best d*mn customer service on the Plaza.
Evoke happiness for our customers.

Qualifications:

Retail clothing experience preferred.
Creatively show fashion forward personal style with a t-shirt focus.
Must be able to work a minimum of eight (8) hours per week.
Have 20 or more hours available to be scheduled each week.
High-energy and have an outgoing personality.
Excellent communication skills.
May be required to lift 30 pounds.
Available to work two or more weekends a month.
An understanding of Kansas City's culture, history, and sports teams is a plus, but not required.

Retail Store Key Holder

Summary of Position

They key holder should be fashion-forward, with a passion for incorporating t-shirts into a trendy look all while performing basic operational and transactional functions. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities include assisting the management team in:

Training, coaching, and developing employees and team leaders.
Delegating tasks to learn and providing follow-up.
Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed.
Ensuring team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service.
Ensuring product quality, store cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met.
Staffing and scheduling appropriately control labor costs.
Ensuring proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed.
Ensuring appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-year retail experience. Management experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers.
Possess a positive attitude and ethics, which support our values and culture.
Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused store.
Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Creatively show fashion-forward personal style with a t-shirt focus.
Must be customer-focused, energetic, and have an outgoing personality.
20-30 hours of availability per week.
