Story

Infamous, Iconic, Unforgettable. This one-of-a-kind tee commemorates one of the wildest moments in baseball history – George Brett's legendary meltdown during the "Pine Tar Game" on July 24th, 1983. With two outs in the top of the ninth, Brett hit a two-run homer to give KC the lead, but after inspection, the umpires ruled that there was too much pine tar on the bat, effectively ending the game and sending Brett into a frenzy. After an upheld protest, the game resumed play 25 days later on August 18, with KC coming out on top 5-4. This shirt captures the chaos, controversy, and pure Kansas City baseball energy of the moment Brett charged out of the dugout and into the history books. Perfect for KC baseball diehards, baseball history buffs, and anyone who believes pine tar belongs on bats, not in rulebooks.

Fabric

Made of 50% Polyester, 38% Cotton, 12% Rayon to create the perfect blend, super soft on the torso.
