The 1942 Negro World Series was a best-of-seven matchup between the Negro American League champs, Kansas City Monarchs, and the Negro National League champs, Homestead Grays. It was the first World Series between eastern and western Negro Leagues champions since 1927 and featured eight members of the Baseball Hall of Fame, including Satchel Paige, Buck O'Neil, Josh Gibson, and Buck Leonard. The Monarchs swept the Grays four games to none in a six-game series, with two additional games not counted in the standings. Pay tribute to the champs with this Kansas City Monarchs World Champions T-Shirt!
